Mozart Plug-in Mozart LT Virtual-Design Plotters Links Contact e-mail

Plug-ins add new functions to Mozart in order to satisfy particular needs. The user himself can write his own plug-ins, Mozart will automatically recognize and use them.

Using plug-ins Mozart can be customized on user's requests reducing costs and times of development as it is not necessary to modify the code of main program.

The following plug-ins are available for all users of Mozart.
Users can request the development of personal plug-ins to create special reports or drawing functions. On user's request personal plug-ins are not available to other users in order to protect his reserveness.

  • Tridimensional surfaces flattening.
This plug-in adds a command to flatten a tridimensional surface (mesh or Coon's surface) and obtain the equivalent bidimensional surface. In this way it is possible to quicly construct pinces and rounded parts.
The command requests to select the tridimensional surface to be flattened and the optimization level, then creates the equivalent bidimensional surface.

  • Creating polyline from spline (NURBS).
Splines (NURBS) allow the user to draw and modify curved paths more quickly and easily than using polylines but can not be joined together. This plug-in creates a polyline having the same shape of the selected spline (NURBS) simply indicating the optimisation level.

  • Basic patterns construction.
Some type of patterns are particularly suited to be automatized. Using a simple interface this plug-in automatically creates the tridimensional model and the outlines of main pieces. The user can chose between 9 types of patterns, each pattern subdivided into several types. The tridimensional pattern can be used to evaluate the proportions and to develop the Virtual photography. The outlines can be used as a starting base to develop the whole pattern.

  • Interface for Atom cutting tables.
This plug-in allows the dialogue between Mozart and the cutting tables built by Atom: FlashCut (oscillating knife) and FlashJet (waterjet). The DXF file containing the shapes to be cutted is automatically generated and sent to the machine. Moreover the plug-in allows the user to set the quality areas, the tools to be used for pounching or cuting dies and several parameters to control the extraction of the shapes.

  • Interface for Comelz cutting tables.
This plug-in allows the dialogue between Mozart and the Comelz cutting tables. The DXF file containing the shapes to be cutted is automatically generated and sent to the machine. Moreover the plug-in allows the user to set the quality areas, the tools to be used for pounching or cutting dies, the lines of projection or reference and several parameters to control the extraction of the shapes.

  • Interface for Lectra cutting tables.
This plug-in allows the dialogue between Mozart and the Lectra cutting tables interfacing the DXF AAMA. The DXF file containing the shapes to be cutted is automatically generated and sent to the machine. Moreover the plug-in allows the user to set the up to 5 logical tools, the tools to be used for pounching or cutting dies and several parameters to control the extraction of the shapes.

  • Interface for Teseo cutting tables.
This plug-in allow the dialogue between Mozart and the cutting tables built by Teseo. It generates a DXF file that can be imported in Naxos and from there sent to the machine. Moreover the plug-in allows the user to set the tools to be used for pounching or cutting dies, the lines of reference and several parameters to control the extraction of the shapes.
